Date Night

My hubby took me on a date tonight to a movie. I was so shocked when he asked me out. I think it was his way of saying thank you for my admitting he was right and I was wrong concerning my previous post. I let him read that post by the way and he laughed quite a bit. Then he tried to pretend that he didn't know the second toilet was broken. Yeah, nice try buddy. You're still fixin it.

Anyway, we saw Angels and Demons and man, it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the movie. I would place it in my top 10 for sure. I highly recommend it. I was sure that it was going to be a Christian bashing movie in some way but really it wasn't. Boy was it great. Not like the movie we saw on our last date. The one with Nicolas Cage??? What was that movie...... the one about what if you could change the future. Both of us hated that movie. It was awesome until the last 30 minutes and they ruined the movie completely & also trashed the idea of God as our creator. It took everything I had not to cry like a little girl at the end.

What a great night we had together. I was so happy. If we were newlyweds I'd be doing something else right now but instead he's right beside me snoring and I'm blogging!! snort snort. Ah well, at least he still wants to date me right? What a great evening. I truly feel blessed and loved. And happy. Thank you Lord for answered prayers.
