Let's have some fun today shall we? Who knew trust could have so many definitions huh? Let's do some word replacement today.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

I will rely on the LORD with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding;

I put myself in your custody LORD with all my heart and will lean not on my own understanding;

I place my confidence & hope in the LORD with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding;

I have assured expectancy in the LORD with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding;

This is my life verse. I first learned of a life verse when I was reading Wendy Blight's book Hidden Joy in A Dark Corner. AWESOME BOOK!!!

She also helped me understand how important it is to know all the definitions of a word. I can't begin to tell you how many times a day I have had to cling to this verse in days past and what a comfort it has been to me. It still is, & I like to personalize it and make it into statement form sometimes. Do you ever do that with a special scripture?

Have a great day,

Jenn

I'm so thankful for your words of life and hope...I needed them so much today. Like you, my husband and I have walked through horrific construction nightmares. People not paying, large companies stealing from you and the bills piling up while you live on credit cards. Please keep me in your prayers as the tormenter works overtime on my mind...filling it with all the mistakes we've made and leaving me in such despair. Just when it seems we get back on our feet, we are knocked down again and again. Twenty plus years and really still struggling with this business. It gets to be too much somedays and most nights.

Oh Jo Ann, I know this struggle so well. We continue to live it every day. Sometimes it really is just too much. The pressure inside just wants to burst some days, right?
It is a very real struggle that our families face, even today we fight for every penny & fight off those who want to cheat us.

I prayed a good hard long prayer for your family. It was pretty funny, I was praying like a warrior going into battle. I will keep you in my prayers, I promise.

All I can tell you is what works for me. When it just gets too much or even when it starts up I just start praising God & seeking Him. I speak His word back to Him & I tell ya, God shows up for me in that. He continually makes a way for help to show up. It is hard to do sometimes when each new pay crisis pops up but I just remind myself of what God has spent a good year and a half showing me. Which was to just lean on Him, praise him always, thank him always and concern myself with reflecting His character. Why we live through these things when we are good people, who knows? I sure don't but as long as I keep doing what He has shown me I sure do have a lot more peace and God has made a way for much more increased financial provision. So grateful for that!!

I pray things for us both will get better soon. Please just stay in His presence, I promise seeking in the storm will quiet those damaging winds.

Love you,

Jennifer

Thank you for the prayers and the words of hope:) I will also pray for your family and business. Do you ever just get tired of the struggles? I kinda felt that way yesterday....just tired of it all. Want to be on cruise control and just coast!

It is definitely easier for me to have faith for your finances and business than mine....maybe that is why God brought me to your blog. I will continually ask for God to overwhelm your husband's business with God's blessings and abundance:) JoAnn
